Applicable Industries and Substrates

1. Plastics Industry Widely applicable to polyolefin materials including LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and EVA. It can be used for agricultural films, packaging films, injection-molded turnover boxes and thick plastic parts. It is also compatible with flexible PVC, PS, ABS, PC, nylon, polyester, polypropylene fibers and various synthetic rubber products.
2. Coatings & Inks Industry Suitable for clear varnishes, wood coatings, polyurethane coatings, powder coatings and industrial protective coatings. It can effectively prevent loss of gloss, discoloration, cracking and reduced adhesion of coatings after long-term outdoor exposure.
3. Packaging Industry As an ultraviolet screening agent, it is used in packaging materials for food, daily necessities and cosmetics. It blocks UV radiation and protects packaged contents from oxidation and deterioration.

Recommended Dosage (based on total mass of substrate)

1. PE/HDPE thick injection-molded parts: 0.10%～0.50%
2. LDPE/LLDPE/EVA films & agricultural films: 0.15%～0.70%
3. PVC and rubber products: 0.20%～0.60%
4. Various coatings and clear varnish systems: 0.30%～1.00%
5. Long-term outdoor weathering applications: Compound formulation is recommended. Chimassorb 81 (0.2%～0.4%) + HALS hindered amine light stabilizer (0.15%～0.3%) for doubled weather resistance performance.

Processing Guidelines

1. Plastic Processing: May be mixed directly with resin pellets for extrusion granulation, injection molding and film blowing. For uniform dispersion, it is recommended to pre-blend with a small amount of resin to prepare masterbatch before mass production.
2. Coating Systems: Fully soluble in common coating solvents such as xylene, ethyl acetate and cyclohexanone at ambient temperature. Dissolution can be achieved by stirring at room temperature without heating.
3. Processing Temperature Limit: Maximum processing temperature shall not exceed 280 ℃. Prolonged high temperature shall be avoided to prevent product decomposition and discoloration of finished articles.
4. Compounding Restriction: Avoid long-term storage and co-processing together with strong acid or strong alkaline additives, which will reduce UV absorption efficiency and impair product performance.

Packaging, Storage and Shelf Life

1. Packaging Specification: 20 kg per bag, lined with PE moisture-proof film, outer kraft paper bag, hermetically sealed.
2. Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, ventilated and enclosed warehouse with ambient temperature ≤30 ℃. Keep away from open flame, heat sources, strong oxidizing agents, strong acids and strong alkalis.
3. Storage Prohibition: Outdoor stacking, rain exposure and direct sunlight are forbidden to prevent moisture absorption and caking.
4. Shelf Life: 24 months in original sealed packaging. Slight caking does not affect product performance; the material can be used normally after crushing.
