UV absorber UV-328 is a high-efficiency benzotriazole light stabilizer. It strongly absorbs ultraviolet rays in the range of 280–380 nm and effectively suppresses outdoor aging issues of polymer materials such as yellowing, loss of gloss, chalking and cracking, so as to extend the service life of finished products. It features low volatility, excellent weather resistance and good compatibility. Suitable for room-temperature and low-temperature curing systems, it is widely used in coatings, plastics, polyurethanes, adhesives and other fields. When compounded with hindered amine light stabilizers, it delivers outstanding synergistic anti-aging performance.

This product is white to pale yellow crystalline powder with excellent thermal stability and extremely low volatility. It resists decomposition and migration during processing and boasts good light transmittance, and its addition will not affect the appearance and transparency of finished products. At 20 ℃, it is readily soluble in organic solvents such as esters, and alcohols, slightly soluble in water, and compatible with various resin and coating processing systems.
Suitable for outdoor wood coatings, automotive coatings, exterior wall coatings and industrial low-temperature curing coatings; outdoor modified plastic products made of PP, PVC, ABS, PU, etc. It can also be used for polymer materials such as polyurethane elastomers, adhesives and fiber coatings to effectively improve the outdoor weather resistance of various finished articles.
General dosage: 0.1%–0.5% by weight of the substrate. For high weather resistance outdoor applications: 0.5%–0.8%. The dosage can be appropriately reduced when compounded with hindered amine light stabilizers to improve cost performance and protective effect. Adjust dosage according to actual formulation and service environment.
It can be added directly during mixing, feeding and coating preparation. Dry powder feeding or pre-dissolution in organic solvents / pre-dispersion in resins are both available. Recommended processing temperature ≤280 ℃; avoid prolonged heating at high temperature. Uniform and stable dispersion can be achieved by simple stirring; no special process is required.
Packaging: 25 kg per fiber drum lined with moisture-proof bag; custom packaging available. Storage: Keep hermetically sealed in cool, dry and ventilated place. Keep away from heat sources, oxidants, acids, alkalis and corrosive materials. Avoid direct sunlight and moisture. Shelf Life: 24 months for original sealed packages. Once opened, use up promptly and seal well for moisture protection.
