Description

Riquit® Imported Light Stabilizer UV-123T is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer containing amino  groups for the coatings industry. It features low basicity and can minimize reactions with acidic components in coatings. Its unique molecular structure endows the product with excellent light stabilization performance. It plays a vital role in many fields, effectively protecting materials from UV attack and extending product service life.

● Low basicity, especially suitable for systems containing acidic substances, catalyst residues and other special components. ● Effectively prevents coating defects such as gloss loss, cracking, blistering, delamination and discoloration, so as to extend the service life of coatings. ● Better performance when used in combination with UV absorbers to improve weather resistance.

Application Fields

Widely applied in automotive coatings, industrial coatings, wood coatings, decorative coatings and other coating products. ● Particularly suitable for high-solids, acid-curable automotive and industrial paints, such as two-coat thermosetting acrylic systems and one-coat thermosetting acrylic and polyester solid-color paints. In automotive coatings, combining Riquit® Imported Light Stabilizer UV-123T with benzotriazole UV absorbers (e.g., Riquit® UV-1130) can markedly enhance coating weather resistance. This light stabilizer can be incorporated into the clear coat of two-coat systems. For wood coatings, blending Riquit® UV-123T with Riquit® UV-400 greatly improves the anti-aging performance of air-drying alkyd coatings. The blended light stabilizer mixture can be added to topcoats and penetrating primers.

Usage & Dosage

Recommended loading dosage: 0.5%～2%. The specific addition amount can be adjusted according to practical requirements.
