Description

Imported UV absorber UV-196 is a liquid-type high-efficiency anti-UV additive. It can effectively absorb ultraviolet light at 240–300 nm and nearly fully absorb UV light within 300–330 nm.

Thanks to its excellent UV absorption capacity, UV-196 effectively inhibits yellowing of PU products induced by ultraviolet radiation. It is widely used in PU elastomers, PU foams, PU adhesives and other materials, especially for outdoor products with high requirements for light resistance. Better anti-yellowing performance can be achieved when combined with antioxidant PUB-350.

Application

Recommended dosage: 1–3‰ of the total mass of the substrate.
