Imported UV absorber UV-9

UV absorber UV-9 is a benzophenone-type UV absorber and Class I sunscreen agent approved by FDA. It absorbs ultraviolet light at 270–340 nm, with absorption peaks at 285 nm and 325 nm.

It features good compatibility, low volatility, excellent dispersibility, low migration, favorable thermal stability and high absorption efficiency. It is suitable for PVC, PVDC, polystyrene, PMMA, ABS resin, acrylic resin, unsaturated resin, cellulose resin, synthetic rubber, coatings and inks. It is especially recommended for colorless and light-colored products. The typical dosage is 0.1–0.5%.
