Imported light stabilizer UV-292

Light Stabilizer UV292 is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It scavenges free radicals generated under UV irradiation. It inhibits gloss loss, discoloration, cracking and delamination of coatings, and improves coating durability.

UV292 is suitable for automotive coatings, industrial coatings, wood coatings, waterborne coatings, polyester resins, polyurethane resins, phenolic resins, alkyd resins, vinyl resins, thermoplastic acrylic resins, thermosetting acrylic resins and UV-curable acrylic resins. For dispersion in waterborne systems, it can be dissolved in water-miscible solvents such as diethylene glycol diethyl . Combined with UV absorber UV1130, UV292 can significantly enhance the weather resistance of coatings.

• For clear coats and metallic basecoats: Recommended dosage: UV292 0.5%–1%; UV1130 1%–3%.
• For single-layer pigmented coatings: Use UV292 alone at 1%–2%, or UV1130 at 1%–2%.
