FAR-500H flame retardant and anti drip agent is a high-performance additive specially developed for plastic flame retardant modification. The core mechanism of its action is to utilize the "fibrillation" characteristic of high molecular weight PTFE under pressure during plastic combustion, forming a continuous fiber network structure, significantly increasing the viscosity of plastic melt, and effectively suppressing the phenomenon of melt dripping during combustion.
Can be added and used in plastics such as PC, ABS, PC/ABS, PBT, HIPS, etc.
Recommended addition amount is 0.1-0.5%, depending on the specific needs of the product. When the amount added to PC is 0.5%, it can have a significant flame retardant and anti drip effect.
