UV absorber IV-1084 is a thiobisphenol nickel salt hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), which has dual functions as a light stabilizer and antioxidant. Capable of absorbing 270-330 nanometers of ultraviolet light, with a peak absorption of 303 nanometers. It has a synergistic effect with other stabilizers, especially UV absorbers. It can effectively protect various materials from UV radiation. It works by removing free radicals generated by ultraviolet radiation, thereby preventing them from reacting with the substrate and causing damage.

Suitable for polyethylene and polypropylene, especially for polyethylene film and polypropylene lawn under high temperature processing.
