This product is applicable to polyolefin polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride. Its core function is to chelate heavy metal ions including copper, iron, manganese and cobalt to deactivate them, so as to restrain the catalytic aging of polymers induced by heavy metal ions and extend service life of finished products.

Advantages

Good compatibility with resins, excellent dispersibility, non-migratory, non-staining, good resistance to water/oil extraction, and no adverse impact on electrical insulation properties of resins.

Application Fields

Widely used for copper-core wires and cables with PE, PVC and PP as insulating materials (e.g. communication cables, submarine cables, oilfield cables, power cables, etc.)

Compatibility

Can be used together with other additives. It exhibits synergistic effect when compounded with antioxidants, and will not affect crosslinking degree when used with crosslinking agents.

Dosage

Recommended addition dosage: 0.1%–0.5%.
