Chemical Category: Blended color protection stabilizer, compounded with multiple high-performance antioxidant components. These ingredients work in synergy to achieve superior stabilizing effects. Appearance: Pure white fine powder with uniform particle size and no agglomeration. It disperses easily and evenly in SBS and other polymer systems, laying a solid foundation for consistent antioxidant protection. Volatile Matter: Strictly controlled at less than 0.5%. 3. Mechanism of Action

The active ingredients inside HS-1004T act as efficient free radical scavengers. When polymers are subjected to high temperature and oxygen during processing, they rapidly capture free radicals and terminate free radical chain reactions, fundamentally inhibiting thermal oxidation of the material. Meanwhile, it regulates the activity of polymer chains and suppresses gelation risks caused by excessive crosslinking. It maintains good fluidity and plasticity throughout processing, minimizes yellowing risks and protects the appearance and properties of final products.

4. Application Fields

This color protection stabilizer is mainly designed for the polymerization of SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene block copolymer). SBS is a versatile polymer widely used in rubber and plastic modification. However, it is vulnerable to thermal oxidation, which easily causes yellowing and gelation during processing. Incorporation of HS-1004T provides reliable protection for SBS, helping it pass through polymerization, molding and other processes smoothly. It consistently produces high-quality products with stable color, and expands the application potential of SBS in downstream sectors such as shoe soles, asphalt modification and adhesives.

5. Usage Method

For SBS polymerization, the dosage of HS-1004T shall be adjusted according to formulation details and process parameters. Under normal conditions, the recommended dosage is 0.2%–1% based on the total weight of SBS raw materials. For addition, slowly add HS-1004T powder into the agitated SBS feedstock with high-speed mixing equipment, and keep stirring for 10–15 minutes to achieve uniform dispersion for optimal protection performance.
