Description

Riquit® Anti-Aging Masterbatch MX-519G is a monomeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). Its standout feature is the ability to improve color development of polyolefins, outperforming other commercial HALS products. Benefiting from its special high-molecular-weight structure, MX-519G delivers outstanding light stability, low volatility, good extract resistance and excellent gas-fading resistance. It protects a wide range of polymers including PP and styrenic resins. MX-519G also acts as an effective antioxidant and provides remarkable long-term thermal stability for polyolefins.

● Low volatility, good extract resistance. ● The active component resists blooming under high-temperature conditions. The masterbatch surface remains dry and non-tacky with excellent anti-caking property. ● Excellent gas-fading resistance. ● Non-blooming and non-tacky; easy for transportation, storage, feeding, dosing and dispersion. The active content of the masterbatch can be tested rapidly. ● Dust-free and easy to handle during processing.

MX-519G is a high-performance light stabilizer, especially effective for polyolefins such as polypropylene, polyethylene and polybutene. It is also recommended for styrene homopolymers and copolymers including ABS resin, PET, PBT, engineering plastics, polyurethane, polyamide, flexible and rigid PVC, PVDC, elastomers, EPDM, PA, PET and PP fibers, adhesives, etc.

Application

Recommended Dosage: PP (thick articles): approx. 0.20 ~ 0.50% ABS (thick articles): approx. 0.30 ~ 0.50% PP (fibers): approx. 0.05 ~ 1.00%

The exact loading depends on the required performance of the polymer and finished components.
