Description

Riquit® Imported Light Stabilizer HS-944T is a high-performance polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It is specially designed for polymer products such as polyolefins (PP, PE, etc.), polyolefin copolymers, polyamides, polyacetals and polyesters. It effectively prevents photoaging problems including mechanical strength loss and yellowing, and improves the weather resistance of finished articles.

HS-944T is also applicable to blends of polyolefin with EVA, PPO, polyoxymethylene (POM), polyamide (PA), polyurethane (PU), rigid & flexible PVC and PVC blends. Besides, it delivers favorable light stabilization effect for styrenic polymers, rubbers and adhesives.

As a polymeric high-molecular-weight HALS, HS-944T features excellent compatibility with resins and outstanding extraction resistance. It is suitable for systems requiring low volatility and minimal migration, especially for films and fibers. Moreover, HS-944T shows good synergistic effect when combined with other hindered amine light stabilizers. It is one of the advanced and widely adopted HALS products at home and abroad. This product is approved for food packaging applications in certain countries.

Typical applications cover polyolefins (PP, PE), olefin copolymers such as EVA, and blends of polypropylene with elastomers. It provides outstanding light stability for thin-walled products, especially fibers and films. For thick-section parts, it works particularly well for polyethylene articles.

Dosage & Application

Recommended dosage: 0.05%–1.0%. The exact loading shall be confirmed by customer application tests. It can be used alone or combined with UV absorbers 326, 329 and 234.
