Description

UV Absorber UV-1577 is a hydroxyphenyltriazine UV absorber. It absorbs ultraviolet rays in the range of 280–380 nm, with absorption peaks at 293 nm and 342 nm. It features good compatibility, low volatility, excellent durability, low migration, superior thermal stability and high absorption efficiency. It also delivers long-lasting UV absorption performance and will not complex with metal ions. Typical dosage: 0.1–0.5%.

Application & Dosage

It is suitable for polyester, polyether ester, polycarbonate, polyamide, polyetheramine, polystyrene, acrylic copolymer, polymethyl methacrylate, polybutylene terephthalate and styrene-acrylonitrile resin. It is especially recommended for transparent and translucent engineering plastics, as well as films, sheets and boards of PC, PA, PET and PMMA.

Applicable to: polyetheramine, polybutylene terephthalate, polycarbonate, polyether ester, polymethyl methacrylate, acrylic copolymer, polyamide, polystyrene, styrene-acrylonitrile resin and polyolefins.
